Cameron’s Brewing have announced the details of their next cask night event. Here are the full details taken from their latest newsletter:
Following last month’s very popular Orange Cream-sic-ALE by Cameron’s brewer Adam, this month’s Cameron’s ‘Let’s Drink the Cask Night’ will be on Thursday July 31th, from 6:00 – 8:00pm and it will have a summer twist this month.
Cameron’s Cask Nights are a casual and intimate monthly event at the brewery. The guestlist only event is free of charge and mainly a chance for us to share a glass of our latest creation with our friends, supporters and our local community.
For those who have not been to the brewery before, this is a great chance to meet the folks behind the scenes and to tour our facility. As well, it’s a great time to pick up some brewery fresh Cameron’s beer.
We will be tapping the Cask at approximately 6:15pm.
Whole Foods Markets have graciously donated some delicious food for the event. The food will be available at 6pm.
As always, the event is capped at 60 people to keep it intimate and to ensure everyone gets a taste of the cask. RSVP’s always come flooding in, so confirm your attendance as quickly as possible.
Due to the good weather and overall cheer at the brewery, we encourage everyone to invite a guest (or a few) to join them this month. Just indicate how many people will be coming with you on your RSVP.
For any questions or to RSVP (if you haven’t already), email mike@cameronsbrewing.com

The site of last weekend’s popular Summer Cask Ale Festival, the Victory Café, has put the wheels in motion for their next cask ale event. Sadly, it won’t be happening in August as first rumoured, but it should be worth the wait.
Fittingly dubbed the Winter Cask Ale Festival, the event will take place in January, 2009, and will presumably occur inside the pub rather than on the patio – although with the help of some tents and heaters, who knows what might happen?
More details to follow in the coming weeks and months.

The reviews are in, and everyone seems to agree that yesterday’s Summer Cask Ale Festival at the Victory Cafe was a complete success. It helped that the weather was gorgeous, of course – but the 10 fantastic beers and the friendly crowd certainly didn’t hurt either.
The CASK! info table saw a steady stream of visitors looking to learn more about cask ale and help with our cause, and all 10 casks were drained by 6 PM or so, which is proof that Torontonians have a big thirst for cask ale.
(And if the rumours are true, they might be able to slake that thirst again very soon. More info as it becomes available…)

Welcome to the online home of CASK!, a newly formed collective dedicated to raising the awareness of locally produced cask conditioned ale in Toronto. Since we’re new, there’s not a lot of information available here yet, but much more will be forthcoming, so please stay tuned!
