Thank you to everyone who turned out for this year’s Beer for a Cure event. It was a fun evening with an entertaining English-themed quiz (thanks to Martin Long, Quiz Master extraordinaire), a successful live auction (thanks to this year’s auctioneer, Nick Pashley) and fantastic songs care of Benny Caruana and his guitar! And of course all of the cask beers were very tasty indeed, pairing well with the delicious four-course meal!
Thanks to your generous support we were able to raise $2,700 for charity. The funds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Prostate Cancer Canada.
Special thanks to all the folks at The Granite Brewery and Tied House for supporting this event every year and for looking after us so well.
The beers have been announced for the St. George’s Day Beer for a Cure dinner, to be held on Saturday April 20th 6:30pm at The Granite Brewery and Tied House. Check out the full menu…

We hope you can join us for this fun evening and at the same time support a good cause. Proceeds go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Prostate Cancer Canada. Thank you!

This social will take place on Sunday June 10th starting at 12 noon.
As a brewing collective, People’s Pint Brewery not only brews their own beers but also invites fellow brewers to collaborate with them in brewing unique small batch beers on their premises. Their moto, ‘Beer by the people, for the people’ was joyfully embodied by some of your fellow Cask! members when they helped to brew one of the beers that will be available on Sunday.
Hope to see you there!
